MyOnlinePool.com (MOP) offers fun and easy "Sports" and "Reality TV" pools for you and your friends to play, via the internet. The idea for the MOP website started with a small email-based office pool run by my brother for the 2002 Men's FIFA World Cup. With only 15 friends playing in the first year, I watched our little pool grow to a whopping 100 players by the next World Cup in 2006. That's when I realized that web based office pools were a fun, easy and exciting way for friends, family and co-workers to enjoy the social and competitive nature of event driven pools. So, I contacted my buddy (a techno-geek-programmer) about developing MyOnlinePool.com and the rest is history. Our goal was simple, to develop an easy to use, fun and socially interactive software application for all to enjoy.

The MOP Heads (a brief history of MOP)
When we began the MyOnlinePool.com website (MOP), we invited friends and family members to be our first test group (our voluntary lab rats, so to speak). With plenty of feedback from our favorite test group, affectionately known as the MOP Heads, we found that most people are very busy and don’t have the time to learn a new hobby or game. So we focused on making office pools that were easy to setup, play and manage. We began developing our pool software to be extremely user-friendly and above all FUN. Finally, after many endless days and sleepless nights of programming and web development, we achieved our goal. Thanks MOP Heads, we couldn't have done it without you.
